Thoughts..

So many things went through my mind in the past week...and i'm still trying to make sense of my thoughts.

Easily happy yet at the same time, worry alot....that sounds like me.

Just yesterday, new year's day came to my mind...along with some "if onlys". Lol...done with the "if onlys" and "what ifs"...don't really wanna let the past and the unknown future rule my life. Living for the present seems to work best...and one day boss said "live every day like it's your last"...that rang a bell.

Was just thinking about sowing and reaping and some thoughts came to mind. It seems that it applies to a whole load of different areas as well - work, friends, relationships...almost anything. Putting hard work into your duties, wtime and effort into maintaining friendship and relationships...these to me is like sowing. And the satisfaction, recognition, praise is the eventual harvest. There's no results without hard work, no relationship without sacrifice and no friendship without effort...it all came as a result of the seed sown.

At the same time, putting into a bag full of holes doesn't help either. Putting trust, effort and belief in the wrong areas of life leads to naught.

Hmmm...another random thought just came to mind...about how i will go back and read my previous posts and wonder what made me say the things i said back then. Well, people grow and change all the time...so what was said before, is not fully representative of their current state.

Did some baking over the past week, and the chocolate cupcakes with pear filling and vanilla bean frosting was quite well received! I would've preferred a denser cake, a prettier frosting and a bigger cupcake! Will work on it next time =).

Just baked peanut butter cookies with peanut filling...and the cookies turned out HUGE. When i say HUGE, i meant really HUGE! Lol...no idea if anyone's gonna eat them cos the portion is wayyyyy tooo biggggg...haha. Though it made me hate peanut butter for a while, especially after smelling so much of it...eeks!

Here's my cookie! I have decided to name it Peanut Butter UFO Cookie! Lol...
