Kitchenmogumogu

Sooooo sleepy. Decided to post something after rushing my articles for work. I do have a love-hate relationship with work...haha. Well i guess it was my own fault that i had to bring some of my stuff home to do. Shall stop procrastinating and focus harder next week =).

Yesterday was a good day for me...had alot of fun and totally enjoyed myself.

Went to play some Wii at Yongxiang's house....Olympics is fun!!! But it was also super tiring. I cant swim with the Wii for nuts! Haha...but i think i was pretty ok at the archery and 100m dash part. Gymnastics was really really fun too...but my reaction's not the best =X.

After that, went to do some shopping at Far East with Alvin. Was craving for instant noodles at Hong Kong cafes...but there wasn't one at Far East. Can anyone tell me where to find nice noodles like that in Orchard area?

In the end, we went to Kitchenmogumogu...the new bento place that i've been wanting to go but no one to go with.

Well, the place is served by young pretty girls wearing sailormoon-like uniforms. The ordering process is totally machinised...point point on the screen to make your order, and then pay by slotting your cash into the cash slot. Pretty simple i would say, but the menu's in Japanese and doesnt provide much description into the various dishes available. I had to ask the girls what does each dish consist of in order to find out.

Alvin ordered the Omu rice. It had ham, raisins, peas and other 'liao' inside.

I had....Fluffy Bear! Haha...yessss...that's the name of that bento. It's soooooo cute. The ears are made of pork cutlet, fluffy face made of pork floss, raisin eyes and tomatoes for its nose! I'm inspired to make bentos again...but that's only when i can muster enough strength to do it again. Well, we shall seee...

=( Sad...my half eaten bear face!!! I very she bu de eat the bear lo...that's the problem with such cute bentos. Nice to look...but can't bear to eat!!

Eating at kitchenmogumogu was so so only. The food, especially the kawaii bentos, are priced quite steep. But the normal bentos are alright...comparable to Yoshinoya. But this does taste healthier...less msg and all it seems. More "dan" taste for its bentos.

Hmmm....but i still feel that the prices are kinda steep for its portions...which are quite small for males, but alright for females. The kawaii bentos do come served in larger portions though.

Apparently, they make only 30 sets of each Kawaii bento, so i didnt get my first choice! Soooo wanted to eat the one with the chicky chicky...but it was sold out =(.

Anyways, i think it's always worth a first try. Especially for those who haven't seen such cuuuuuuuuuuuuute bentos before! Maybe you will be inspired to jump onto this bento craze too...like me! Hahahahaha....i hope to have more bento sharing kakis you know....:P.
